AB Switches

ABX-1

Choose from 1, 3, or up to 20 ports; our IP-controlled AB switches are widely used for switching connections between redundant systems and for enabling or disabling remote equipment.

Using RJ45 connectors, each port can switch 8 wires from the Common input to Port A or Port B. Commands sent from Prism products cause the device to switch upon demand.

ABX-1

ABX-1 switches are widely used for enabling or disabling remote equipment and switching I/O connections between redundant messaging systems. Often used at remote transmitter sites to switch between old and new base station controllers when upgrading. Manually push the switch button or use IP control commands for Prism software to switch one or more relays.

Bottom edge has a Form C relay for controlling a local connection, and to indicate a loss of power to the unit. Also on the bottom edge is a connector for controlling the switch externally

  • ABX-3 switches are widely used for switching connections between redundant systems and for enabling or disabling remote equipment.
  • Manually push the switch button or use IP control commands for Prism software to switch one or more relays.
  • Configured with 3 plug-in cards with RJ45 connections for A, B, and Common. Dual Port Control card.
  • The rear panel has a Form C relay for controlling a local connection, and to indicate a loss of power to the unit.
  • A connector for controlling the switch externally is also on the rear panel

ABX-20 switches are widely used for switching connections between redundant messaging systems. Manually push the switch button or use IP control commands for Prism software to switch one or more relays. Configure with 6-20 plug-in cards with RJ45 connections for A, B and Common. Dual Port Control card. The rear panel also has a Form C relay for controlling a local connection, and to indicate a loss of power to the unit.
