ABX-1 switches are widely used for enabling or disabling remote equipment and switching I/O connections between redundant messaging systems. Often used at remote transmitter sites to switch between old and new base station controllers when upgrading. Manually push the switch button or use IP control commands for Prism software to switch one or more relays.

Bottom edge has a Form C relay for controlling a local connection, and to indicate a loss of power to the unit. Also on bottom edge is a connector for controlling the switch externally.
